Irish Golf for Free. Play Baltray on Sat May 18th

Irish Golf is a beautiful thing... Free Irish Golf is even better!

I have a tee time booked for 2.10pm on Saturday 18th May for Baltray, a.k.a Co. Louth. I'm after three volunteers who'd like to play the scene of Shane Lowry's hair-raising amateur victory in the Irish Open (2009, in case you'd forgotten).

Baltray is often regarded as one of Ireland's hidden links gems (so hidden in fact that I have no photos of the place) and it's only 60km from Dublin City Centre. Apparently the 18th interferes with some Champions League football match as well as the Heineken Cup. I guess you have a decision to make.

If you want to play and you're happy to join three golfers you don't know (including me) then leave a Comment on this blog and be ABSOLUTELY SURE to check back at 6pm on Sunday May 5th to see if your name has been picked. Alternatively, leave an email address, although it will be 'public' on this blog.

So, if you're:
a. available
b. interested in playing (your Handicap is irrelevant)
c. haven't played the course before
d. capable of filling in a form in the bar afterwards and
e. prepared to appear on my blog (as well as Golfing Weekly ezine)...

... then enter your name in the Comment section below. Some folks have been having trouble leaving a Comment, so if you're entering, be sure to scroll down in the box when you fill in your details and type out the two words in the box.

Irish golf doesn't get better than this
