Approach to the 17th at Greystones |
Day 1: The 17th at Greystones is Index 4 and a par four. I hit a perfect drive to the top of the hill, leaving just a wedge in. I hit that perfectly too, putting it six feet away from the pin. The putt rolled in at perfect pace. Birdie.
Day 2: The 5th at Mount Juliet, an S-shaped par five. I pushed my drive into a bunker. Hit a decent-enough bunker shot that took me back across the fairway and under trees. With a three-quarter swing I bladed the shot and somehow reached the green. Sank the putt from 30 feet... but would have gone several feet past if it had missed. Birdie.
