Rathsallagh Golf Club, in Co. Wicklow, closed 'for good' last year. Cue much gnashing of teeth... in this household anyway. And then came word that the course had been purchased and was going to re-open. Cue much work, cutting of hay, revitalising of bunkers and greens, and the search for members.Turns out they didn't have to look far! The course re-opens today, Wednesday 1st June. The green fee today is €16. Usual green fees will be €35-€40. Their Open Week is August 20th-28th. Their website is www.rathsallaghgolf.com
